Another Egg and Duck Story
The odd egg by Gravett, Emily — Simon & Schuster Books for Young Readers, 2009--E-; Int Lvl: K-3; Rd Lvl: 1.3 Duck is trying to hatch the oddest egg of all.
Rationale: I’ve mentioned previously that my first grade teacher always hatches eggs in the spring. Any one of these titles could be included in story hours previously posted about chickens and eggs. Use this Inspiration Book and the Related Books when you are doing a spring, hatching, or secular Easter story hour. They are all humorous and many have a fun “funny” twist. Most are recent copyrights.
